Class IX-A conducted an engaging and thought-provoking assembly on the theme World Environment Day 2026 – “Our Planet, Our Responsibility” on 1 June 2026. The assembly commenced with a powerful dramatic presentation where the voices of nature highlighted the growing environmental challenges caused by human activities.
The highlight of the assembly was an interactive Talk Show featuring an Environmental Activist, Industrialist, Scientist, and Student Representative. Through meaningful discussions and debates, students explored pressing issues such as climate change, pollution, deforestation, and the shared responsibility of protecting the environment. The programme also included role plays, and short performances depicting everyday actions that contribute to environmental degradation.
Students presented practical solutions such as conserving water, reducing plastic usage, planting trees, recycling waste, and adopting sustainable lifestyles. The assembly concluded with a powerful pledge and the inspiring message, “Inspired by Nature. For Climate. For Our Future,” encouraging everyone to become responsible stewards of the planet and work together towards a greener and more sustainable future.
