Health and Hygiene Week Activities were organized for students of classes VI to X with the objective of promoting awareness about physical, mental, and emotional well-being. The week-long programme from 6 April to 10 April 2026 aimed to instill healthy habits, encourage fitness, and educate students about the importance of a balanced lifestyle.

The activities were thoughtfully planned and conducted by the sports coaches, ensuring enthusiastic participation from all students. The week commenced with a morning fitness drive, where students engaged in warm-up exercises, stretching, and light aerobics. This helped them understand the importance of regular physical activity in maintaining good health. Special yoga and meditation sessions were conducted to emphasize mental health and stress management. Students actively participated and learned simple techniques to improve concentration and relaxation.

A series of sports activities and games such as table-tennis, darts, football, karate and team-building exercises were organized throughout the week. These activities not only enhanced physical strength and coordination but also fostered teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship. The coaches also conducted an interactive session on nutrition and healthy habits, where students were educated about balanced diets, the importance of hydration, and the harmful effects of junk food. Practical tips for maintaining a healthy lifestyle were shared.

The Health Week concluded on a positive note, with students gaining awareness about the significance of maintaining a healthy body and mind. The initiative was highly appreciated by both students and teachers, and it successfully instilled a sense of responsibility towards personal health and fitness.
