A vibrant and engaging Inter Class Reading Competition was organized on 18 July 2026 for the students of Classes VI–VIII. The primary objective of the competition was to provide a platform for students to demonstrate their reading fluency, pronunciation, expression, and confidence in oral communication while fostering a love for reading.
The competition commenced with a Preliminary Round, where participants read an unseen passage. Based on their performance, the best readers were shortlisted for the Final Round. In the Final Round, participants presented a self-selected, age-appropriate reading passage, showcasing their command over pronunciation, voice modulation, fluency, and expressive reading.
The participants displayed remarkable confidence, clarity, and enthusiasm. Their ability to interpret the text through appropriate pace, intonation, and expression reflected consistent practice and a genuine appreciation for reading.
The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation and was highly appreciated by both teachers and students. The judges commended the finalists for their confidence, pronunciation, fluency, effective voice modulation, and overall presentation.
