The new academic session for Classes VI to X at DPS Tapi commenced on 1 April 2026 with great enthusiasm and positivity. The first day was dedicated to welcoming students and creating a comfortable and engaging environment for their return to school.
The day began with a warm reception by teachers, who greeted the students at the entrance and guided them to their respective classrooms. Class teachers conducted introductory sessions to help students reconnect with their peers and become familiar with the classroom environment.
Special welcome activities were planned for each class, focusing on teamwork, creativity, and communication skills. Class VI students confidently introduced themselves through the “All About You” activity, enhancing self-expression and classroom bonding. Class VII students actively participated in “Find someone who….”activity by picking chits and completing given tasks. Class VIII students enthusiastically participated in the “Bingo Tang” activity, making learning fun and interactive. Class IX students actively participated in the “This or That” activity, encouraging quick thinking and lively classroom interaction. Class X students creatively participated in the “Emoji Story Challenge,” showcasing their imagination and storytelling skills.
These welcome activities successfully helped students feel comfortable, motivated, and ready to begin their learning journey with renewed energy. The day concluded on a cheerful note, with students looking forward to a productive and enriching year ahead.
