The morning assembly held on 03 August 2026 was conducted by the Student Council Members on the theme "Sugar: Friend or Foe" The assembly commenced with the school prayer, followed by the Thought of the Day.

The presentation highlighted the importance of sugar as a source of energy while emphasizing the harmful effects of excessive sugar consumption. Students were informed about the difference between natural and added sugars, the foods in which they are commonly found, and the recommended daily limit of added sugar intake. The session also addressed how regular consumption of foods high in added sugar can gradually lead to unhealthy eating habits. Facts and myths related to natural and added sugars were discussed to dispel common misconceptions and promote informed food choices.

The assembly concluded with a Healthy Pledge, encouraging students to adopt balanced eating habits, limit added sugar intake, and make healthier lifestyle choices.
