The “Reading with Fun” initiative was conducted for students of Classes III to V from 13 April to 18 April 2026, with the aim of enhancing reading skills through engaging and interactive activities. The program created a joyful learning environment where students developed better comprehension, expression, and confidence in reading.

For Class III, students participated in a Story Sequencing activity. Working in small groups, they arranged story cards in the correct order, discussed events, and retold the story in their own words. This activity strengthened comprehension while promoting teamwork and communication skills.

In Class IV, the Paragraph Jigsaw activity encouraged collaborative learning. A story was divided into parts and shared among groups, who read, discussed, and presented their sections. This helped improve reading fluency, critical thinking, and confidence in public speaking.

Class V students enjoyed a creative Roll and Read game, where they read passages in different styles based on dice outcomes, making reading expressive and fun. They also read selected chapters from Boy: Tales of Childhood by Roald Dahl, which enhanced their interest in literature.

The initiative successfully fostered a love for reading, with students showing increased enthusiasm, improved comprehension, and greater confidence.
