The spirit of Janmashtami filled the school with joy, devotion and enthusiasm as students from Nursery to Class V came together to celebrate the birth of Shri Krishna with great excitement. The celebration beautifully reflected the richness of Indian culture, traditions, and values.
A vibrant Jhanki display was the centre of attraction, featuring colourful decorations and creative depictions of different aspects of Krishna’s life and teachings. Adding a meaningful touch to the celebration, teachers narrated captivating stories from his birth and childhood to his remarkable teachings. Through these stories, students learnt about Krishna’s playful childhood, courage and wisdom.
The highlight of the event was the Matki Phod (Pot Breaking) Activity, where students participated with immense enthusiasm, energy, and team spirit. The activity not only brought smiles and excitement but also encouraged cooperation, coordination and a sense of togetherness among the young learners.
