Delhi Public School Tapi successfully conducted the CBSE Poster Making Competition on the theme "Heatwave Safety – Stay Cool, Stay Safe" for students of Classes III to V on 10 July 2026. The competition was organised to spread awareness about heatwave safety among school children.

The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, who displayed remarkable creativity and artistic skills through colourful and informative posters. The young artists effectively illustrated important heatwave safety measures such as staying hydrated, wearing light cotton clothes, avoiding direct sunlight during peak afternoon hours, using umbrellas or caps, and recognising the symptoms of heat-related illnesses.

The event provided students with an opportunity to express their ideas while learning about the importance of protecting themselves and others during extreme weather conditions. Their thoughtful messages and attractive artwork reflected a strong understanding of environmental awareness and personal safety.

The competition not only nurtured students' artistic talents but also encouraged them to become responsible citizens by promoting awareness about heatwave preparedness.
