Various engaging and informative activities were conducted on Health and Hygiene for the students Nursery to Class II from 06 April to 10 April 2026 to promote healthy habits and awareness from an early age.
Nursery Class students were introduced to basic hygiene practices through fun and interactive methods. A story on Happy and Unhappy Tooth helped them understand the importance of dental care. This was followed by a demonstration of proper brushing techniques, a lively hygiene rhyme and a handwashing activity was done. They also participated in an activity to differentiate between junk food and healthy food.
In the Prep Class, students enjoyed a creative activity called “Kill the Germs” using paint, which helped them visualize the concept of germs and cleanliness. They also learned a health and hygiene rhyme and listened to a related story to reinforce good habits.
Class I students were taught about healthy habits in detail. They learned the correct handwashing technique and the importance of covering their nose while sneezing. Emphasis was given on eating a balanced diet, maintaining cleanliness in their surroundings, and including daily exercise in their routine to stay fit and healthy.
Class II students participated in a sorting activity to identify healthy and unhealthy habits. Healthy Toothand Unhealthy Tooth activity helped them understand the effects of poor dental care. Special emphasis was given on eating nutritious food and doing regular exercise to build a healthy lifestyle.
Overall, these activities were interactive, enjoyable and helped students understand the importance of maintaining good health and hygiene in their daily lives.
